It's hard to find a genuinely good and kind person, let alone a dentist! Dr. Scapillato really cares about the well being of his patients and will take the time to explain and discuss your treatment and answer any questions. ...In my case, he tried to see if the problem was fixable other ways before resorting to a root canal and it worked! Other dentists would not have done this. They wouldn't have taken the time nor would they want to when they could simply choose the more lucrative option for themselves. In 2018 Dr. James Scapillato done dental work on my son Michael Slana who is severely disabled with MS, he is an excellent special needs dentist, professional, kind, caring and someone I would definitely refer to anyone ...who has a special needs family member or friend. After dealing with a previous dentist who was referred from a home health care agency and botched my son's dental work and took his dentures which were paid for, Dr. James Scapillato put a smile back on his face!
